By creating an account or using ApplyHook, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age and that you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

ApplyHook is a Career Intelligence platform providing ATS Resume Scanning, 31 Swiss A4 Resume Builder templates, Job Description Matching, AI Cover Letter Generation, LinkedIn Optimization, and cloud Resume Vault storage.

By using ApplyHook, you agree not to:

• Create multiple accounts to circumvent free tier limits
• Use bots, scrapers, or automated scripts to interact with the service
• Upload content that is illegal, harmful, or violates the rights of others
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or disrupt our infrastructure
• Use the service to generate fraudulent, misleading, or deceptive content
• Resell or commercially redistribute the service without written permission

Cover letters are generated by artificial intelligence. You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying all content before submitting it to any employer.

• AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies, errors, or hallucinations
• We make no guarantees that a generated letter will result in an interview or offer
• Content is processed via a third-party AI service; their usage policies apply
• You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of all information in the letter

Your use of ApplyHook is governed by our Privacy Policy, incorporated into these Terms by reference. We do not store your resume or job description after generation. We do not sell your data.

All payments and recurring subscriptions are securely processed by Lemon Squeezy, our Merchant of Record. By subscribing, you agree to the following terms:

• You will be billed according to the chosen billing cycle (monthly or yearly) at the rate displayed at checkout
• Subscriptions auto-renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date via the Customer Billing Portal
• Cancelling stops future charges; your Pro or Ultra tier access continues uninterrupted until the current billing cycle expires
• We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods once digital export or generation credits have been utilized, except where mandated by applicable consumer protection laws
• Prices are transparent with zero hidden fees. Price changes will be notified with at least 30 days advance notice to active subscribers

You retain ownership of your resume and job description. You own the generated cover letter. The ApplyHook name, logo, website design, and underlying software are owned by us and may not be copied or used without our written permission.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in abusive activity. You may close your account at any time by contacting us through our website.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ApplyHook and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including loss of employment opportunities or reliance on AI-generated content. Our total liability shall not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months or USD $10.

ApplyHook is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for any specific purpose.

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes will first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. Unresolved disputes may be submitted to binding arbitration.

We may update these Terms at any time. We will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
